Woodworking Projects

I have mild experience with woodworking and enjoy creating functional pieces when I have the time. While I'm still learning, I find the process of designing and building physical objects to be a nice contrast to my mostly digital work.

Wooden Game Board

Created a small wooden game board as one of my first woodworking projects. This project involved careful planning, measuring, and hand-crafting the board to ensure proper dimensions and a smooth playing surface. To complement the board, I also designed and 3D printed custom game pieces, combining my woodworking and 3D modeling skills.

Rotating Bookshelf

Built a wooden rotating bookshelf. It wasan ambitious project that taught me a lot about joinery, weight distribution, and the importance of proper construction techniques. While it was a learning experience (and admittedly, it's poorly constructed and falling apart by now), it was a valuable project that helped me understand the challenges of building functional furniture. Sometimes the best lessons come from projects that don't turn out perfectly!

I'm always looking to improve my woodworking skills and tackle more complex projects in the future.
